-
What should I wear to a Pilates class?Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely - leggings, joggers, or shorts and a fitted top are perfect. Avoid clothing that’s too loose, as it may get in the way during certain exercises.
-
Do I need to bring any equipment? All face-to-face classes provide mats and any props we’ll be using. You’re welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer. For online classes, a mat and a small amount of clear floor space is ideal.
-
What if I have never done Pilates before? That’s absolutely fine! Most classes are beginner-friendly, and I’ll always guide you through modifications and options. Just let me know on your health form or before class if you’re new.
-
How do Zoom classes work?Once booked, you’ll receive a link via email and in your account area. Just click to join at the class time. For the best experience, position your camera so I can see your whole mat, and try to join a few minutes early to check your setup. If you haven’t already, you can download Zoom here.
-
Can I eat before a session? It is best to avoid heavy meals right before your session. A light snack about an hour before is usually fine - just make sure you feel comfortable and not too full during movement.
-
What if I arrive late or need to leave early? Please try to arrive on time so you can take part in the warm-up and settle in safely. If you do need to leave early, just let me know in advance and make sure to exit quietly so others are not disturbed.
-
Do I need to have my camera on for online sessions? It is helpful if your camera is on so I can give you guidance, especially during 1-2-1s or correction-focused classes. However, I understand some people prefer privacy - do what feels right for you.
-
What if I have an injury or health condition? Please let me know in advance by filling out your health form carefully and noting anything I should be aware of. I will always offer modifications, but it is important that I know how best to support you safely.
-
What if I feel unwell during a session? If you ever feel dizzy, in pain, or unwell during a session, please stop immediately and let me know. Listen to your body - there is no pressure to push through. Your wellbeing always comes first.
-
Why do I feel sore after class? It’s common to feel sore 1–2 days after a session or Pilates class, especially if you’re new or trying something different, but it can happen even if you are a seasoned practitioner. Gentle movement, stretching, staying hydrated, and applying warmth can help ease it. The good news? It means your muscles are adapting and getting stronger!
-
What happens if I miss a class? If you miss a class that was booked using a pass, that credit is still counted as used. Make sure to cancel or reschedule within the allowed timeframe to avoid losing it.
-
Can I get a refund or credit if I cancel?Refunds are not issued for unused or late-cancelled bookings, but you can cancel or reschedule any class in advance via your account. If you’re unsure, feel free to get in touch.
-
What if the instructor cancels the session? If I ever need to cancel, I will let you know as soon as possible. Your credit will remain in your account and can be used to rebook another session.
-
Can the instructor move my booking to a new class?Unfortunately, we cannot manually move your class bookings - even if a class is cancelled by us. If a class is cancelled, the credit will be returned to your pass so you can rebook. We are only able to move bookings for 1-2-1 sessions and private dance sessions directly.
-
Why do I need to fill in a health questionnaire?Your safety is a priority. These forms are standard practice across the fitness industry and help us understand any injuries or conditions you may have so we can support you appropriately in class. They may also be required as part of insurance cover.
-

How far in advance can I book a class? Most classes appear on the calendar several weeks in advance, depending on how far ahead the schedule has been set. If you cannot see a class yet, it may simply not be open for booking—but feel free to check back later or get in touch.
-
What if I accidentally buy the wrong pass or membership? Please contact me as soon as possible. I cannot guarantee refunds, but I will do my best to help resolve any genuine mistakes.
